He grew up in Borger, Texas, and he's been around hitters ever since.
The Baltimore Orioles drafted Levi out of Howard Junior College in 2013. He turned them down, finished his last two college seasons at UT Arlington, and was drafted again in 2015 by the Toronto Blue Jays.
He's spent more than ten years coaching hitters since, from developing minor leaguers to established Major League veterans, including offseasons alongside 108 Performance with Josh Bell and Matt Carpenter. One of the pros who trains with him, Garrett Mitchell, won the 2026 World Series with the Brewers.
What hasn't changed is how he coaches. Instead of forcing every hitter into the same mechanical model, he starts with how each one naturally moves, organizes force, creates timing, and responds to different training environments, whether it's an 8-year-old or a big leaguer.
Through Motor Preferences, Timing Preferences, video analysis, Blast Motion, HitTrax, and drills designed for the individual, Levi and the BLP staff work to find what makes each hitter successful, and build a development plan around it.
"There's no single correct way to swing. There's a correct solution for the individual athlete."
